Where is East Orlando?

When you're traveling to a certain city with which you're unfamiliar, it behooves you to learn a bit about the place before you make your hotel reservations. What's the point of having tickets to several plays on Broadway if you're staying way out in the boonies and it takes you two hours to get there and two hours to get back?

Such is the case with Orlando. Priceline is offering some nice discounts on hotels in East Orlando... so you may be asking yourself, where's East Orlando, and what's there?
