One of the many B&Bs participating in this promotion is the Elmira's Painted Lady Bed and Breakfast at 520 W. Water St. inElmira, NY. The building is Victorian, and the "Painted Lady" refers to the paint scheme that Victorian houses were given.

Built in 1875, this particular Painted Lady has the original inlaid silk walls and ceilings. The Billiard room was added in 1879 and has oak walls and ceilings. A 575 Sq foot two room suite is great for a relaxing weekend with a sitting room and separate bedroom. There are 4 other luxurious rooms, each with private bath and whirlpool tubs.
