Thanksgiving was Thursday, November 26, 2009, and I hope everyone who celebrates that holiday had a good one. Now, today, Black Friday, a large percentage of people are going to venture out to their local stores in hopes of finding bargains, and starting their Christmas/holiday shopping now.
Now's the time to start planning your Christmas vacation as well, if you haven't already done it. (After all, for "big" holidays like 4th of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas, it's usually best to make plans a year in advance, if you're trying to get in to a particular resort or vacation package!)
How about being on board the inaugural cruise of the Oasis of the Seas, the newest cruise ship from Royal Caribbean? Take a look at what http://www.cruisedirect.com is offering!
It departs December 5 from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, cruises down to the Caribbean, and then returns to port 7 days later, on December 12.
Here's the cabin costs:
Interior Oceanview Balcony Suite
from $1299 from $1549 from $1699 from $4829
If December 5 is too soon for you to go, rest assured that this ship sails on a weekly basis throughout the month of December and into the new year.
Check it out.
